Asus Indonesia Ready to Release 2 Phone Android


Asustek Computer Inc., through their representative in Indonesia to prepare two newest smartphone based on Android operating system. The two smartphones are complementary Garmin-Asus M10 that has been circulated previously.

"If nothing gets in the way, for example in the delivery or administration at the port, the smartphone will be attending the end of this October," said Setyo Ryanto, Technical Product Manager of Asus Indonesia.

As is known, Garmin-Asus M10 in circulation in June and then use the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. The two smartphones that will be presented Asus this time, namely A10 and A50 series will use the Android operating system 2.1 (Eclair).

Setyo mentioned, Asus smartphones are being and will be marketed will also be displayed in public in the event Indocomtech 2010 which will take place 3 to 7 November 2010.

Garmin-Asus A10 is a smartphone HSDPA 3.2-inch touchscreen with 320x480 screen resolution, and 5 megapixel camera that supports geo-tagging and GPS. For storage, the phone provides a microSD slot that can accommodate up to 16GB.

The A50 model using a 3.5-inch screen, 3.15 megapixel camera that also supports geo-tagging and GPS. For storage, a camera that supports Wi-Fi provides 4GB of internal memory plus a microSD slot that is claimed to support up to 32GB.
