Three OS Future Nokia: S40, Symbian 3rd, and MeeGo

In the event Nokia Connections 2010, Nokia confirms three future mobile operating system that will be used for their next line of phones. Namely S40, Symbian ^ 3, and MeeGo.

Located in the Conrad Centenniel Centenniel Singapore, Monday (18/06/2010), Jo Harlow, as senior VP Smartphone Nokia explaining some things related to a number of diverse OS Nokia's.

"Currently we are working to improve Symbian. Symbian ^ 3 is the result of our hard work," she explained as she introduced the Nokia's latest OS to a number of media.

Related to this, Chris Car Sales as Vice President and Nokia SEAP also explain the position of each OS and how the Finnish vendor had set their strategy.

S40, Car said, positioned for mass market phones such as Nokia C3. While Symbian meeGo ^ 3 and is believed to middle-class smart phones and Nokia mobile internet devices.

With these three platforms, Nokia confirmed that consumers will stay connected between one another, regardless of product class. "We brought a lot of functions in one device," he explained.

"Nokia does not distinguish between one product with another. For example, this product is only for music and browsing, another product just for social networking. In a Nokia handset, consumers have got everything," adds Will Harris, Head of Marketing SEAP Nokia.
