RIM Slowly Release OS BlacRerry 6


Research In Motion (RIM) has quietly released details of the BlackBerry operating system is the latest BlackBerry 6. They promised there would be some of the enhanced multimedia features.

Under increasing pressure from Apple and Google, RIM plans to bring new operating system will be present at the upcoming third quarter. BlackBerry OS 6 has shown an increase which will include the browser's WebKit, a new interface and new social networking features.

Among the multimedia features are improved, the music library which displays album art and lets users navigate by swiping their collections through the current text on the screen.

Quoted by Cnet, Thursday (7/22/2010), the new operating system will also offer new ways to view and organize photos. Images can be grouped by event or date and seen as a full image or a slide show.

In addition, users can select groups of pictures to share, copy, paste and delete, according to the blog post.

For video users, the BlackBerry six aims to make it easier to share video using YouTube uploader.

RIM has also improved the camera experience. Instead of navigating through the menus for options, users will be able to access and review images, adjust the options and choose from a variety of scene modes directly from the camera screen.

In North America, BlackBerry OS users will be able to use six new podcast service which allows them to find, subscribe to and play podcasts. All podcast content will be free.

Additionally, the BlackBerry OS 6 will continue in line with iTunes and Windows Media Player, it will come with desktop software update that enables BlackBerry users synch video to and from their mobile phone. Users will also be able to sync and sync individual playlists or genres.
