Intel Ready to Present Smartphone Next Year

Intel's chip, known as the manufacturer will start business in the field of smart phones starting next year. Smartphones are certainly the latest Intel processors will be supported. Most likely the company will introduce the smartphone in a homemade International Consumer Electronics Show 2011. "This will be an opportunity for us," said CTO Justin Rattner. Smart phone made by Intel will be using a special chip called Moorestown CODEC.

Moorestown chip specifically for the phone can save power as well as to rapidly process data and run applications that require intensive video capability. According to Intel, battery life is a key issue of the smart phone. "The processor can save power be the answer to improve battery efficiency," said Rattner.

As a producer of chips, Intel's presence in the world of phone feels very late. Moreover, some devices have been using homemade chips and successfully penetrate the world market.
