TwitterAcer Indonesia Ready to Launch Android Smartphone Liquid E
Acer's been better known in the realm of the computer business. But that does not mean its presence in the mobile phone business just so the team cheerleaders. Taiwanese vendor, admits to serious mobile market.
Acer's seriousness any attempt inscribed in its first Android product which will soon be present in Indonesia. His name is Acer Liquid E.
"We're very serious. Acer considers future business is a matter of content. Acer assume that this (mobile phone business-ed.) Is not a side business," said Husen Halim, Brand Manager of Consumer Marketing Division, Acer Indonesia, when introducing the products to a number of media.
Acer is known for it's strong in the consumer PC market, especially for laptop products. With its leadership in these segments, they also hoped its presence in the smartphone business can also be shiny.
"Business is expected to Acer handheld could rise 10 percent. This figure is larger than the server class," said Husen.
Globally, Acer now has three types of mobile products namely: Liquid, Be Touch, and Neo Touch. The third product is carrying the Android OS and Windows Mobile.
Well, in Indonesia itself Liquid E is Acer's first Android phone that would menyambangi Indonesian market. Acer currently is working with Indosat to market a product that would present the mid-July.
