"This is an important step for the industry when two big companies joined forces to give customers one of the most important addition of mobile technology in this century," said Lowell McAdam, president of Verizon.

As quoted by AFP on Wednesday (12 / 1), the presence of CDMA iPhone is long enough to be heard, but the new 2011 handset will be presented and Verizon own 4 versions will sell the iPhone 16GB and 32GB with price and service contracts more or less the same with quote AT & T, the specification itself is identical to the iPhone GSM.

Responding to the expiration of the iPhone monopoly they control since 2007, the AT & T still believe they have many advantages. A spokesman for AT & T claims to have the fastest network than its rivals.

But the fact that AT & T service several times got complaints from iPhone users. But most important is that consumers will now have another option with the arrival of the iPhone on Verizon's CDMA 4 versions. We'll wait.
