Firefox 4 Mobile for Android and Maemo


Mozilla shows the seriousness working on a mobile browser market by releasing a beta version of Firefox 4 platform mobile to Android and (Nokia) Maemo.

The browser is much faster than the claimed default browser to compete with Android 2.1 and WebKit on Android SunSpider 2.2. Mobile browser, codenamed Fennec 2.0 that uses the same basic layout with the Firefox browser 4 beta desktop. However, Firefox 4 beta use the latest Javascript and the latest extensions, called JagerMonkey.
