Rumor: RIM reportedly Tried BlackBerry Tablets
Research in Motion apparently will not stay silent with the uprising of the launch of Apple products, ranging from iPad tablet computers and smart phones iPhone4 latest version. Now RIM's Canadian headquarters in the middle of trying on the latest BlackBerry tablets.
Wall Street Journal reported that the RIM BlackBerry smartphone version has a touch screen and slide-out keyboard. Not only the outward look of the new operating system also has never been used on previous BlackBerry models, the BlackBerry OS 6.
BlackBerry tablet is likely to have some of the same features as the Apple IOS, which allows swiping and pinching motion on the screen and browse the internet. The plan, BlackBerry tablets would be launched later this year.
According to recent data Nielson, RIM still leads the smart phone market in the United States, which amounted to 35 percent in the first quarter of this year. On the back of RIM, Apple followed with the percentage of 28 percent and Windows Mobile 19 percent.
