Apple iPhone shipments delayed four white color because of production problems. Apple confirms iPhone supply four black color was not affected. "Apple's new iPhone model white four proved harder than expected to be produced, and consequently will not be available until the second half of July," said Apple.

"The availability of the iPhone four of the more popular black models are not affected." Apple did not give any problems in manufacturing. But an author theorizes that the iPhone MacWorld white model shows scratches and cracks occur.

Best Buy and Radio Shack also stressed the lack of supply. "Best Buy has received confirmation that due to production delays from Apple, we're not going to provide four versions of the iPhone launch day white on June 24, 2010," the company said in a statement.

Radio Shack to post a small note on his Facebook page, gives an account regarding the supply shortage.

"Because of the delay, we will not have a white unit on June 24," the company said.
