4 Version Samsung Galaxy S Launched in the U.S.
Samsung launches four versions of Samsung Galaxy S for each operator in the United States, ie Epic 4G for Sprint, T-Mobile Vibrant, Fascinate for Verizon, and Captivate for AT & T. All four versions have been carrying the new Samsung Super AMOLED touch-screen 4-inch, Samsung Hummingbird 1GHz processor, the back of a 5 megapixel camera with 720p recording capability, 802.11n wifi connection, as well as DLNA media sharing facilities.
However for Android OS used is 2.1 with a customized UI (Swype keyboard), so that does not yet support Flash directly. Vibrant launched on July 21 to come with a contract price of 200 dollars. AT & T has done a preview of Captivate, but like the other operators have not provided details of price and launch date.
